KC MASS has undergone re-engineering

Kansas City MASS Services, LLC (dba) KC MASS Services is a certified Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) organization established in 2003. KC MASS was founded initially as a construction and real estate company specializing in developing accessibility space for physically challenged individuals. Most recently KC MASS has re-engineered itself to focus on advancing the STEM economy workforce sector. The primary objective is to develop, up-skill and place job-ready aspirants into STEM-related jobs and careers focused on architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry.

KC MASS in collaboration with Social Impact Technology & Engineering (SITE), a STEM-focused registered 501 (C)3 nonprofit organization, is positioned to better leverage the public community. SITE promotes STEM educational opportunities to school districts providing learning modules and facilitated tours to advanced manufacturing facilities and other STEM skills companies.

SITE continually seeks an innovative approach to close the skills-gap and increase diversity within both the under-served and the minority community. SITE is launching the STEM Economy Education Nurtured program (SEEN) in the heart of Kansas City Missouri’s urban core focused on architectural engineering and construction technical skills training. The SEEN program will not only assist the youth; additionally, it will help adults develop their professional skills, fortifying their resumes with on-the-job-training on projects acquired through the SITE’s partnerships.
